Entropy : Zero 2
Statement of Release
You can grab Entropy : Zero 2 on Steam right now for free (you must own Half-Life 2!)
After five long years you can now find out what happens next with our protagonist, Bad Cop. You'll learn his actual name real soon.
It's probably no surprise to hear we have been really busy during these last days. It all feels a bit surreal to me at this critical stage. Entropy : Zero 2's development concluded successfully thanks to the incredible passion and perseverance from the team.
Blixibon, CW3D, Cyonsia, Kralich, NOSML, Spencer, Trivvy, 1upD - I want to thank you all publicly for your unwavering attention to this game. Entropy : Zero 2 would not be what it is without you and your input. You have all defined the game in your own ways. I could not have been luckier to work with such a dedicated and talented team. We have shared times of laughter and times of stress. There have been some big debates over the years, but we have stuck together through it all. Not only did you constantly show respect to the vision I had; you made it better. There have been many times during production where development has continued in my absence and for that I am grateful. During busy periods, I know that EZ2 was worked on 24/7 at times. I'm super proud guys and I can't believe we're finally here. A moment we have all pined for. I know that after some rest, we will miss the monthly meetings and the weekly development grind. Thank you so much for everything! Also, a big thank you to Max Brando for managing the community so well during the first few years! They miss you Max!
I also want to thank all of our contributors and testers - far too many people to name here (they are all included in Entropy : Zero 2's credits). You have helped us out immeasurably and we are all grateful.
Finally a big thank you to all of our followers. We couldn't have done it without your interest! The lore speculation, the discussions about media drops and trailers, Discord - everything. All of your input has driven us throughout development. Thank you!

Don't forget to check out Spencer on YouTube as well. He has posted all of his EZ2 tracks individually:
So what happens now?
Now you get to play the game. We'll sit back and watch, looking for any major issues that might arise and we'll be ready to push hotfixes and patches when necessary. Aside from fixes, I suspect most of us will be taking a break!
The narrative in Entropy : Zero 2 consists of several deep layers. My suggestion is to go slow your first time around and take it all in.
In future we will probably look into creating deployments, which are custom maps or campaigns for the game. You can create these too using the workshop and the EZ2 SDK (you can do LOADS with this toolkit, seriously.)
It has been a real honour to lead this project. I'm already feeling nostalgic about the early days of development and likely will for many years. What a journey! I hope you enjoy Entropy : Zero 2.
