Throughout Monsanto's forest many threats walk around causing havoc. All of these monsters and entities will attack you on sight and all of them will have other powerful variants in certain regions of the map.

Let's take a look at our enemies!

Maruxinho

20220927 133452 1

Description

These biped small furry creatures are always on the lookout for shiny and valuable things to steal for the simple purpose of hoarding and appreciate their looks and "shininess". Lately they have been stealing religious relics from the village's chapel and some villager houses.

Combat Behaviour

Due to their size and strengh they rely much more on numbers and speed than on raw power so they always travel in pairs and protect their treasures from potential threats.

While fighting multiple maruxinho, when one remains he will flee towards the nearest pile of treasure, their safehaven. Maybe followign him would be a great idea.

Olharapo

Description

The smallest of giants but, still, they are much taller than human beings and pack a mean punch. They were generally peaceful creatures, keeping mostly to themselves but since in Monsanto they seem very much agressive.

Combat Behaviour

Due to their 3 eyes they spot threats in long distances and when they do they give a big roar that encourages neraby enemies to attack those threats with great power.

Their movements are slow but if they hit someone with their big swings and slams they deal great damage in area thanks to their giant physique.

They never backout of fights they started.

Bruxa

Description

Generally evil intended, these witches go around villages and cities causing chaos either in their name or others, but always aiming on gaining something.

Combat Behavior

While in fights, they always tend to maintain a safe distance between them and their target.

They either throw explosive potion flasks at the enemy or if ally monsters are nearby in combat they heal and buff them.

When the enemy comes too close they flee to safe distance and, again, start throwing flasks.

Current Progress

At the time we have the Maruxinho and Olharapo implemented in game both art and programming, although they will have a AI revision which we are planning to showcase more in the future.

The Bruxa and the enemy variants due to shifting focus to better improve or reworking current implemented gameplay features and enemy ai.

Stay tuned to our next devlog were we talk about character improvements, buffs and specifically how to get them.

Till next time dear Knights!
