A million bug fixes, new content and an update on the Kickstarter.

We want to thank you all for your support, we´ve almost reached 40k! Unfortunately it looks like we´re not going to reach the funding goal. But don´t worry – that´s not the end of the world.

We´ll continue to develop and release Pantropy on Steam of course. But we´ll also reboot the Kickstarter campaign with a lower goal by the end of march. We just need a bit more time for the preparation.


We have been focusing on improvements and bug fixes. But we also took some time to implement new content and features.

Julian has added lights to all mechs and aircraft which makes your lifes at night a bit easier.

We have also implemented non-building areas around POIs like faction bases, outposts and powerplants.

We have finally started adding some enemy faction bases. These can be raided for loot and precious pantronite.

Julian was pretty busy polishing the AI and we decided to add back the enemy faction guard bot and the Ries giant.

We also fixed the big desert worm and will soon add the juvenile versions.

Julian has improved the spawn system and made the enemy faction units more aggressive.

Two days ago we´ve finally finished the multicrew feature for the T3 mech and a passenger seat for the Tomahawk.

We´ve added the enemy faction turrets to the game but they only target ground units.

Tyson has designed a bigger turret version that will also target airborne units.

Our POIs and outposts will get some proper lights.

We had a long discussion with the community after experiencing some trolling ingame. A few players kept killing their own faction members. We discussed whether we should turn off friendly fire but the vast majority was against this change. So we came up with the idea of an ingame prison, internally called „Troll´s island“.

Tyson has created some proper designs for Troll´s island.

Players who kill their own faction members will loose ranking points, land on the bounty list and will be transported to the ingame prison. The player has to do some repetitive tasks inside of the prison in order to get out. We´re still fleshing out the details but it will be an interesting experiment.

We´ll also replace some of the scopes and iron sights on our weapons.

Anjar has finished the enemy faction walker factory and is currently working on more base models.

Osman is still busy creating all the T3 armored base building parts.

Alexander finalized the T2 minigun and T2 mech mining laser this week and is working on the heavy VTOL „Zeus“ at the moment. This will also have the multicrew feature.



I was taking care of the Kickstarter. The community has grown a lot during the last 4 weeks and many Youtubers featured Pantropy. Here are a few examples :

I took some time to improve the map, add the desert plants that Jim has created, added more rocks to the mountains and refined the grass system.
