This mod is designed to give just a little more variety to Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, specifically with multiplayer in mind. The Base factions and generals are only slightly modified, and several new factions will be released.

My aim is to make this mod feel like it is just another expansion or "DLC" if you will for the main game.

Factions include:

  • Iraq
  • Arab League
  • Israel

Possible Factions include:

  • Japan/South Korea/Taiwan Coalition
  • North Korea
  • India
  • Non-NATO Eastern Europe (mostly Ukraine)
  • Russia
  • NATO

Because of the limit on how many AI's the game can have unfortunately not all the new factions will have one. However this mod is mostly built for multiplayer.

ArabLeague

The Arab League joins the roster

The Arab League provides many different options for defeating the enemy. At the start, the player will be able to choose between playing as Egypt, or Saudi Arabia. Each sub faction has its own strengths and weaknesses. Throughout the game the player will be able to "add" *nations to their Coalition through General's promotion points. This will give the League an advantage at being able to be adaptable to any battle. Need better artillery? Well there are nations to be added for that. Need cheaper tanks? You get the picture.

*In this faction the nations of the Arab Coalition each provide a unique unit. This is not making a statement about any nations based on what units they provide, merely a fun way to include more nations.

Egypt

Egypt

Egypt provides a quick and mobile force. Gaining and maintaining map control is one of their main advantages.

SaudiArabia

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has heavier more expensive units. They can also use F-15 Strike Eagles, which pack a punch to ground units.

Iraq and Israel

There are a few changes to go other. First, Iraq has had some rework with their general's promotions. Improved military structure now gives some infantry and vehicles veterancy. The F-16 is unlockable with its own promotion. They also now have an M109 self propelled artillery as a promotion. The Shilka now does not have any reload time while attacking ground units, and is slightly more expensive.

Israel's salvager now heals nearby vehicles. The F-16 afterburner upgrade provides an even greater speed boost.

Coming Next for Zero Hour Escalated 4.0

Ukraine will be added as a faction.

This faction will play more like a glass cannon, using unpredictability and stealth.

Hey man hope you're doing fine, You've worked hard on this and it shows. I have an issue though: I want to construct the SCUD Storm in Arab League but it requires the Palace. And I can't find it anywhere. Help is appreciated.

I have bugs and questions

1-bugs:
1-The scud launcher and MLRS range is so so short
2-The merkava IIID in israel is stronger than merkava IV
3-the apache when created it becomes commanche and f-35 becomes raptor

2-questions:
1-WIll this mod be 100% realastic?i suggest yes!
2-IFyou make russia and usa in future!
make the SAM anti-air (like thaad and s-400-500) work only with nearby radar (like TEOD MOD)

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! I am preparing a small patch to fix some of the bugs that have come up. This mod will not be 100% realistic, instead my goal is to somewhat mimic the base game in realism. With that in mind the Israeli MLRS and the Arab League scud Launcher have the same range as artillery in the game already. (The MLRS actually has slightly more range than other artillery) also I will be buffing the Merkava IV.

I'd also just recommend using GenLauncher as it makes playing mods easier.

I have not seen this error, so I'm not sure what is going wrong. I would recommend installing it again. For installation copy the mod files into a fresh Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour folder (I recommend making a copy folder so you can keep the original game unmodded.) When you copy them over be sure to replace any files when prompted.

Creating AI is complicated and time consuming. I will do it eventually, after I create a few more factions.
