A total conversion mod for the original Doom. The aim for the mod is to recreate the first Legend of Zelda game released for the NES back in 87 in the old Doom engine. If all goes well, i hope to make it a standalone game one day.

IMPORTANT: You must have a copy of the "DOOM.WAD" file shipped with the original/ultimate version of the Doom game!
Place this file in the "Zelda TC WIP\Game" folder.
TO RUN: Double click the "run ZELDA.bat" file.

Is this a game? Not at all! And you need to go in knowing this.
What this is is a mare testing ground with diffrent graphics, sound and scripts. The only persons this will be
usefull to are people whom want to expand and build upon it. And people who just want to try the concept.
Good to know:
*Console command "map test" will bring you to the test map i used to try diffrent things.
*Shield does nothing.
*Character sprites only have four directions out of eight. All four directions have been duplicated to fill up the rest.
*Using texture filters and "blurring" them will make the game not look as intended.
*Probably houndreds of things i can't remember!

After almost three years i needed to realise that i probably won't get the time to ever get anywhere with this project
let alone finish it! I have received several requests to release the files to the open waves of the net wich
by now i think is the only valid option. I really hope someone with the passion or just the know how can have
some use of this and mabye even finish it?
I want to thank all of you that showed your support and your kind comments about the project! It all gave me a nice
fuzzy feeling inside.
I had a blast working on this. And who knows? Mabye one fine day i'll come back and poke at it some more ;P
