Dating back to the times of the Republic, the Yinchorri fleet consisted of a fleet of ships created from a prototype assault frigate that was being developed at the Golden Nyss Shadowport. The original remaining ships were improved upon and upgraded, but due to the imperial control over planet Yinchor, further fleet advancements were minimal.
The Yinchorrian Gun Frigate as it was commonly known, was a slow moving moderately armored ship with weak shields. Compared to standard times, the ship was only moderately armored, with far insufficient shielding. While the armor did allow good protection, it was no match for modern heavy turbolaser fire. The Gun Frigate was bristling with weaponry to compensate, including 8 forward mounted mass driver turrets, a bow mounted medium blaster turret, 3 quad light AA turbolasers turrets, 2 dual light laser turrets and 4 flank mounted concussion missile launchers. The ship also featured a large ventral hanger that could launch 2 squadrons of Yinchorri heavy fighters.
Although being liberated by the New Republic from the Empire, the Yinchorri chose to remain independent, but were known to have dealings with the Hutts...

We are still working on the 'Big Thing', so this is to tide people over.
The ship is an assault frigate, so it is less armed in the back a bit slow moving. Still a worthy adversary due to its large array of weapons, but compared to a Nebulon B, the Nebulon would win due to having strong shields and a heavy bow mounted turbolaser, unless you factor in the 2 squadrons of fighters which would give the YGF the advantage.
