Predecessor to the AAT, the Yinchorrian Battle tank was slower, and had less weapons, but was still a formidable weapon on the battlefield. Strong armored, the Yinchorrian's could withstand fire from most types of medium and light weaponry, only being susceptible to heavy laser fire. The YBT featured dual front mounted anti-personnel blasters, a heavy anti-vehicle laser turret and a heavy anti-personnel/AA laser turret.
Found in use by local defense forces in the Outer Rim, they were a favorite of warlords and pirates for use as defensive weapons.

Am I the only one who thinks that this looks waaaaay more badass/intimidating/awesome than the AAT?
I imagined the AAT to be cheaper and faster to produce while also requiring less crew members and having more weapons.
This tank maybe has a crew of 4, moves slower, but has slightly stronger armor.
So, why make the Yinchorrian one might ask?...
The goal is to create a full and realistic feeling Galaxy. The entire galaxy was under seige and not every planet had the same defense forces. We are trying to create a variety of vehicles so that when the player lands on a planet, there is something more than just pod walkers being used by the local inhabitants. Core worlds will feature more imperial type defense units such as the saber tank while Rim worlds will feature units such as the Yinchorrian.
Just our continued attempt to try creating the most realistic experience possible.
nice, a SW EaW FoC Mod, that not have at every planet the same ground and space units^^
Thats needs much more tactics like other mods, because I have to think, what planet i want to conquer next or whatplanet need more deffece units :D In normal mods I need only a "battleship planet" and thats all i need :D
So will the AAT itself be included?
No AAT, it was the military specific version for the empire and was not commercially available.
It does look more intimidating but if you read the AATs weapon systems you'll see it was far more powerful. It had

Antipersonnel blasters
Chain-fed energized shell projectile launchers
I'm not sure why, but imo it looks kinda russian.^^

I really like growing ranks of repulsor tanks, they my favorites in SW universe. EAW ground battles can be retarded some times, but I hope you can fix them at least a little.
(And hope to see more high gravity/swampy/rought terrain planets that will force more diversity in my ground troops)

omg plssss get this mod out faster guys pls i cant wait it will sooo awesome i will die if this mod isnt released soon i know its hard to do it but looking from the pictures of unit models we come to a conclusion that this mod has a great team working on it
