Commanded by Arien Yage, the Widowmaker was a modified Nebulon B communications frigate. Modified for extended patrols of deepspace, the Widowmaker featured a second shield generator mounted in front of the forward antennae array on the port side of the bridge, the standard bridge replaced with a second pylon of crew quarters and sensor array, an additional forward fixed Heavy Turbolaser mounted in the top pylon, 2 additional gun bunkers on the forward flank armor plates to allow for an additional 2 dual light laser turrets and a rear communications bridge mounted to the top of the engine assembly to allow for sensor pings.
Yage also has the special ability of calling upon a Chiss reinforcement fleet to come to her aid in the midst of combat.

The Widowmaker served the Jedi on many adventures out in the Wildspace regions, most notably the journey to Csilla and the battle of Esfandia.
A note for the mod, we will be using photographic images of people instead of cartoon images for all the hero/minor hero icons in the mod.
The 'black box holes' are gun ports where turrets will be placed.

I really like the idea of using photographic images, this increases the immersion even more. Also great work on the Widowmaker!
How will you be getting the photos for the Icons, will you just be doing some photoshoots with cosplays or just searching the internet for them ?

And i didn't think it was possible for the Nebulon B to get any uglier, guess i was wrong. Don't get me wrong it's awesome work you've done, i just don't like the rebels or their ships.
Nebulon B is rebel ship? Since when? Where did you read that? Altough we've seen it mostly at their side, the Empire used it also.
Nebulon B is a Kuati ship, employed by both Empire and Rebels. It was an expensive state-of-the-art warship, only affordable by a few.
I don't read books, so my knowledge of star wars is what i've seen and heard from the movies and games, and in the movies and games the Nebulon B has only been used by the rebels.

This ship type is actually canon, and was in a Star Wars comic as part of a rebel fleet ;)
