That's a relief. The idea of about 20 modified capital ships mowing down my defenses doesn't appeal to me that much.

seems to me like if you were talking about a particullar mod with OP heroes... :D flagships are for certain stronger than standard ships and the captains do provide some bonuses, however it´s not like you can pawn any enemy defense force if you put them in one fleet. well you could, but you could do the same with a fleet of strong ships...

It's not that the hero ships are massively overpowered when compared to, say, another capital ship, its that they are often available so early in the game that the only thing available to throw at them are frigates that stand no xhance whatsoever. This can be pretty devastating, as you might imagine.

Our galactic conquest will start off with an accurate portrayal of how the galaxy was at the time of the Vong invasion. The Vong will start off with superior forces, and they will decimate the GA and Hutt player at first, but by researching the needed technologies and contacting the right allies, the tide of battle will turn. Players will have the ability to make their own choices, but ultimately the mod will follow a course of events that lead to the Swarm War.

The timeline and events are scripted, but you will have the ability to determine the outcome. Each faction will have an equal chance to rule the galaxy.

Galactic Conquest is always and only single player. Skirmish maps and multiplayer will be the last aspects of the mod we address.

I never play Skirmish, but a GC for mp would be realy nice. But I´ll be just fine with singleplayer GC :)

Yes you can play multiplayer galactic conquest. The unique difference it is how the multiplayer GC has not a IA side.

Sorry but there was not Galactic Alliance when the Vong attacked the galaxy. In the begining there was New Republic. The GA was created later.

Description

The flag command of Traest Kre'fey.

The Ralroost was a modified Bothan Assault Cruiser, featuring a command bridge with the tactical sensor array moved forward. The ship also featured 4 wings, which were the ships deflector shields and 4 long range dual medium turbolasers.

This ship will be painted white with a red blood stripe.
