The Sh'ner, like all Ssi-Ruuvi ships is weakly armored but outstandingly shielded, even stronger shielded than the famed Mon Calamari shields.
The Sh'ner, despite being such a large ship, contains no offensive weaponry. Instead, it relies on protection from it's 6 heavy ion cannons and its large compliment of Swarm droids and Fw'Sen picket ships. The Radar at the bottom of the Sh'ner is the controller beacon of the Fw'Sen picket ships and allows the Sh'ner to act as a fleet commander for these smaller vessels. Being a carrier, it also provides mid-battle repairs for any fighters nearby.

After sizing the Fw'Sen to be 50 m long, there was no way that it was going to fit through the 6 fighter hanger entrances located on the side bubbles of the ship. A ventral large hanger had to be added to allow this.

Man, these ships are going to be impossible to tell apart in the midst of battle :p. But on a serious note these things are amazing. I'm loving all these subfactions. They add so much depth

The Sh'ner only launches Swarm droids and the Fw'Sen Picket ships.
There is the Vsett fighter, a special fighter that will be launched from the Shree Battlecruiser.

I've thought about this forever, a ship that solely relies on ions. It would be brilliant to be able to hyperspace in, bring down a targets shields and hyper out. As far as I'm aware no-one has been able to create that affect for EAW.
(being able to remove ships from the battlefield, without destroying them or retreating entirely)

What did he actually do? I don't understand? I was only an AB for its last year.
It is a feature only from SOTE. You can not take AB features with only credit the creators.
Not asking to take it, just for clarification on how it worked.

Was it just something that allowed a specific ship to hyperspace out of a battle without the fleet?
I am having trouble seeing a purpose of this. Not to discredit anyone's ideas, but this just seems like it would remove the challenge of having to protect a weak ship while in battle.
Hey folks, this is Tau speaking. Just stopping by to clarify a few things here, Nomada. My scripting work was never done as part of the SOTE mod alone. When AlphaBlue was still online (never understood why it got shut down in the first place, but whatever), I posted my work as a gift to all of the AB community, free to use for any member of the modding group. So will you please stop advertising this as a feature of your SOTE mod - it's my work, I've intended for it to be available to all AB modders, and it's only because AlphaBlue for some reason had to have its plug pulled that this scripting work of mine is not now widely available to everyone. If there's still interest, anyone, just contact me, I'd be willing to hand this stuff around.
