Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
Ground unit for the Hutts, the Merc Gunship is found used on the Outter Rim by Mercenary gangs employed by the Hutts. Slow speed but good armor, this speeder will be seen blasting away at Vong infantry with its 3 heavy lasers.
Special abilty: tow cable
Model Design: Kharcov
The Equivalent of the Rebel Snow Speeder, the Merc Gunship can deploy a tow cable to take down ATAT's if needed.
slower than the snowspeeder, but more weapons, so it is more susceptible to AA fire, but deals a strong punch.
Showdown of ground units has begun, good job
It did actually begin sporadically a while ago with some Hutt tanks, modelled mainly by Enpremi I think? If you look back through the images (a LONG WAY) you should find some.
so ground units are being made now. will it share the same system as the space units? (only a certain amount of each unit can be made, etc.)
no, ground units will be just like normal EAW/FOC, you will be able to build as many as you wish
Yay another ground unit! I have been heavily anticipating the ground forces being revealed. You have shown off many awesome and diverse space units, back stories, and badass game mechanics. I hope you can give us the same if not better for ground combat. I would say the bigger challenge of this mod would be ground combat for having less cannon available but, that also means a more creative license. Please do not disappoint!
Sweetness. I always thought it was strange that there was a lack of air units on ground battles considering how vital they are to real warfare.
It reminds me of a wasp for no exact reason.
For no reason at all, it seems more space-y then atmospheric-flying to me. Possibly the lack of aerodynamics? It just says to me "heavy antifighter gunship" more than "aircraft"...
Saying that the models I've seen have been top notch from the start so possibly here I'm just seeing it wrong... :)
very nice!
