Almost as fast as a CR90, but with more armor and better weapons for dealing with corvettes and frigates.

CR90 is faster and better at attacking fighters with its 4 rapid fire lasers.

So its a heavy corvette-escort vessel. Might stick with the CR90 if it's anti-fighter abilities are lackluster. But I guess these things could give a Carrack a scare :)

So much models and little of them have been textured, is this mod going anywhere or are you going to model everything first and then get to texturing.

Model everything first, then texture.

I am the texture artist for the team, but the least skilled model maker. We are coordinating and using the talents of our members as they are available. It does not make sense to worry about textures now, when the model makers are available for constructing models. If all the model makers were to leave, there would be no one to finish the model list. If all the model makers leave, then I am still able to texture, rig and code the models myself.

Rest assured xpearse, I am 100% dedicated to the completion of this mod. I promise that. For now, we focus on models, then rigging, animation, coding, mapping and lastly texturing. Textures are only eye candy, which I promise you will have, but it is not something needed to make the mod run.

And FYI, we have only chosen to show about 1/6 of the actual work completed for the mod. We have everything planned on how we wish to release material for the public, and have no need to just rush all our content onto the web to gain attention.

We are in this for the long haul, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for clearing that up, it's just that the mod has been going on for around a year and a half. It is a big undertaking and im guessing it will take more years to come.

Otherwise, I'd bet they'd just use regular New Republic fighters. The Mon Cal shipyards seem focused on larger ships anyways.
