Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
As deadly as it is sleek, the Beta Cruiser was the main support ship for the Hapan fleets. While Nova Cruisers worked in tandem with the Battle Dragons providing point defense, the Beta Cruisers served the role of frigate hunters and AA defense ships. Armed with 2 ventral mounted dual turbo laser turrets and 3 dual light laser turrets, the Beta's could easily out maneuver most ships of its same class and use hit and run tactics to take them apart while avoiding fire. Beta's were armed with 4 single barreled rapid fire laser turrets just like the CR90 corvette to fend off fighter waves, and featured dual concussion missile launchers located under the wings in front of the booster engine pylons, as well as a tractor beam emitter located just forward of the ventral laser turret underneath the hanger.

Nice. Looks like something that would fit in the Hapan Navy (even though the only Hapan ships we know of look like two dinner plates stuck together or a Klingon Bird of Prey).

The original model did come from EVE, but it has been changed, new pieces added from warb's nova cruiser, and with a new texture it will not even be noticeable as an EVE model unless one purposely tries to make that distinction. We are doing this with a few EVE models, for they are great works of art and share similar aesthetics.

Like the design as per usual but I have a couple of questions
1. the Hapans were given faster recharge turbolasers by the NR as an incentive to enter the vong war at the Beginning of the conflict, will this change the tactics and function of Hapan Royal navy?
2. you mentioned that the Killiks and the Corporate sector are going to be factions. if i remember both factions used Lucrehulk-class battleship's, any chance it could be included in the Mod?
Hapan ships prior to the Vong war had slower firing weapons. The upgrade to weapon systems enable them to fire just as fast as the NR ships. Hapan ships were lightly armored, but strongly shielded while generally faster in movement except for the battle dragon.
The Hapan navy was hesitant to join the fight against the Vong, especially after the disaster at Fondor. This leaves them sort of as a wild card, for a persuasive offer from another affiliation could easily turn the Hapans against the New Republic...
The Hutts and the Peace Brigade work in such devious manners....
Yes, lucrehulks will be part of the CSA, but I never heard of them being part of the Kilik fleet. I have not read that novel yet, it is on my "to do" list.
Kiliks will receive Nestships, Shard Cruisers and Dartships.
