Points to anyone how has been following the mod long enough to know the ship ;)
Just trying to show an example of how the new textures will look when zoomed in on a ship, and looking at a larger ship behind it. One can imagine that this is what the player would witness when playing the game and entering cinematic mode.
I'm not sure about the one at top, unless that's a hero ship, but I know the others. There's the MC85, Watchtower Frigate, Nebulon-B, and the Nebulon-WTF Frigate(the four-bladed one)! Also know as the Nebulon-WTH and the Nebulon-Do you think that's enough blades or should we add more Frigate.

I dont think so. I mean the game is pretty old. As long as they ensure that the game engine can handle that amazing stuff you should be fine.
Would it blow your mind even more if I was to tell you that these textures are actually 1024 instead of 2048...

so was this in game or a picture of them in the 3D render? and can the engine handle this?
All our pictures are taken from the .alo viewer, so this is a true accurate representation of what you will see in the game.
I do not take rendered photos from 3DsMax. I only show the real thing.
