Bes'uliik Prototype Fighter Bomber image - Yuuzhan Vong at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
Developed at the end of the war and rushed into production by order of Boba Fett, the Bes'uliik was a state of the art fighter which excelled at both anti-fighter assignments and attacking capital ships. Slower moving than the Gladiator but still on par with other superiority fighters, the Bes'uliik was best deployed with a squad of Tra'kador Assault platforms to assist with fending off large fighter swarms.
The Bes'uliik featured 2 heavy ion cannons and 4 repeater blaster cannons which were very effective against armored hulls. The thin layer of Beskar outer armor made the ship incredibly hard to destroy as well.
Model Design: Burntstrobe
so a heavier, slightly slower superiority fighter compared to the Gladiator Interceptor. The Gladiator was armed with 2 light ion cannons and 3 laser cannons to make it very fast and effective vs other aircraft, while the Bes'uliik was better suited to more challenging aircraft and smaller attack vessels such as corvettes and frigates.

Remember to make the Bes'uliik faster than a X-wing! :) And turbolaser can't do much damage to it lol...
Not as powerful as the actual Bes'uliik but it looks to be pretty dang close.
Two things: 1) It is killtastic and actually looks like the old basilisk war droids 2) Will fighter be deployed in full squadrons of 12 or something different? Maybe have the option of buying a full wing of mixed fighters and bombers for the NR/GA since they used fighters independently of cap ships a lot.

Interesting take on the Bes'uliik...I like it! It's probably much closer to the intended/described design than the one featured in my own mod. It looks really good next to my Gladiator model too ;)

Interesting take on one of my favourite fighter craft ever.
Not quite as wedge shaped as I'd pictured - I almost pictured it being a buffed up A-Wing shape - but all the more intimidating for it.
(I do hope that, come texture time, we'll see a nice charcoal grey....)

Brilliant design for a fighter with barely any canon descriptions. I like how it resembles the ancient Basilisk War Droid. :)
