Xerca mod for Half-Life

Due to a lack of intrest, and no mod team, I will close down my Xerca Mod at the end of February (28/2/07) unless anything happens. I do apologise to those of you hwo are interested and who are watching this mod, but this is at the moment not really going anywhere, and so i can't see the point in prolonging it too musch.

Xerca is a Half-Life Mod I've been thinking about and planning for ages now. if you want a reference, it is a mix between Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and a very old game called Revolution. The trouble is, it is yet to come off the ground and get going. I'm building it on the half life engine because it is the only one i have experience with, but it may move to HL2 if needs be.

You play as a research scientist in the Chicargo Lab of the Xerca corperation. earth has been devastated by nuclear war, and a few groups who manage to survive have built a life for themselves. after a routine research mission, the base is attacked, and you have to fight you way to find the truth.
features will include
- completely new weapons
- at least 2 different storylines and endings
- challenges like hacking and systems repair
- plot with full voicecast of charectors
- new environments, sterile labs, dead cities, and rebel bases
- vehicles such as the X-204 dropship

Basically this is an FPS based on the HL1 engine. it will be a Total Conversion, and Will heavily work into storyline. The fIrst level is meant ot be training, and then you are let loose on the gaming world to figure stuff out for yourself. also, i'm going yto try top bring in a little more to the environment interaction other than buttons, screens and repairs are the main iodea here. the characters should be a little more realistic than HL1, with both male and female scientists, rebels, and guards planned, plus something else...

A demo will be released as soon as possible.

I need everything for this mod, so, concept artists, texturers, mappers, modellers and coders. No voicecast yet please. this will be inactive til stuff starts happening.
