When creating VTM Bloodlines, Activision and Troika seemingly only had the license to use elements from Vampire: The Masquerade, ignoring the rest of the World of Darkness setting.
The various 20th Anniversary Editions of the World of Darkness tabletop game lines (the "X20" editions) are intended to be used as sort of the equivalent of a "Greatest Hits" album, where all your favourite band's best material is remastered and presented in the best light possible.
So the X20 Mod is intended to bring that design philosophy to Bloodlines: to make it feel like it fits into the wider World of Darkness setting by including references both overt and subtle, obvious and deep-dive, referencing material that came out before Bloodlines and after. This is a World of Darkness fan's Greatest Hits album.
Even if you're not a World of Darkness fan, these alterations might encourage you to become one, inspiring you to look up references and names. If nothing else, it'll keep your playthrough feeling fresh.
X20 Mod is one of VTMB: Clan Quest Mod's "recommended mods" in the installer!

X20 1.11 is updated! This edition is designed for compatibility with VTMB Unofficial Patch 11.2 Final.
X20 Basic can be used with any mod, but X20 Plus is designed specifically for the Unofficial Patch. Note that Plus does not contain the textures from Basic: you'll need to download both Basic and Plus for the full experience.

So, to install I just put Textures and Scripts inside of \Unofficial_Patch and override?
Will it be updated for the newest version of Unofficial Patch or the current version works with it?
This may sound silly, but how do I play/run this mod
You copy the contents into the unofficial patch folder.
Though currently X20 plus only supports Unofficial patch 10.2 plus

Whats the difference between the basic and plus version of this mod?
What each one does is covered in the file description.
The change of posters I suppose it was made to make the walkthrough fresh, other than that, the change was unnecessary, because it was supposed that Gary got pictures nobody else had from them and that's why he shared it with you as an extra reward. That poster on the preview, it's certainly not the case.
By the way, as far as I know there's only 1 official picture of El Diablo Verde and it was a white and black one, said that, his mask and outfit there are red, while his name means the green devil, I suppose he'd wear green, because of his name.
The change to the Prince's door, it'd be yet another hint the Ventrue would have given to the Society of Leopold, the Imbued and normal Hunters, just like the building is called Venture Tower and their employees know LaCroix only works during night. Reckless Prince and the Ventrue.
Agree to disagree on the posters.
"El Diablo Verde" comes from the name of WW sales manager Fred Yelk's car, as a joke. The car was red. Fred is colorblind.
