Hello, this is Half Life 2 modification "Waters of life"
- Now the project goes through serious changes, I am reconsidering the story, plot, artistic style and the atmosphere of the modifcation and technically preparing for it. It's been a very long time since last update, but I think it's about time to revive this modification back to life.
Summary:
The Earth in 2089 the major cities were flooded, depths of the oceans have became their graves. Conflicts and wars ravaged the nations, destroyed the order and hopes for peace. Culture and technology has been buried beneath the concrete ruble and countless human bones. What was left of humanity, moved to the blue horizons.
Marvels of technology and human intelect, Bereli, Necromia, City 277, Fort 11 remained the only places which can sustain humanity, though even after the wars and recent technological brakethroughs, culture is damaged and static. Everyone is on the edge, a bladerunner and the lust for power has never been so big. The visions of tomorow is in hands reach, but tension rises. Embracing reborn ideas of singularity gives hope, but also fear for those, who have the control in their hands. Evolution is here, but not everyone wants to be left behind.

For now, no help is necessary, because I have to lay a solid ground before anyone else can hop in my boat and invest their precious time and believe me nothing is more annoying than realizing you've wasted time for nothing (though depends on your views..)
Although I will try to update as frequently as possible, I have a lot of technical problems to take care of, esspecially with concept art and scetches, which seems will be done on a traditional A4 paper (pen of my drawing board is missing, so yeah...)

Plans to be dealt with before a full revival:
- Rewriting the story, reconsidering ideas, adding a philosophical ground, theme and goals. Change of characters, main plot, theme. Keeping the mood right, keeping it simple.
- Visual theme and atmosphere will definitely change, new concept art might be coming. May remind the futuristic mish-mash of Deus Ex and Half Life. It may be, that I'll even include gothic architecture. Heavy modeling might be required, but until then I'll keep a simple layout.
- It seems concept art and scetches remains on the traditional A4 paper, for now, because of technical problems, which keeps seriously pissing me off
Hope to keep you updated as much as possible, although for now there's nothing to show. I have to clean up the dust and revive the idea with a fresh new start.

Gaianism seems a potential candidate for the philosophical aspect.
The plot IS little crappy in my opinion,but whatever. The ocean would rise,but not to **** up everything.
Do not forget that it is completely fictional plot, a parallel universe, but you got your point. The story still is going through reconsiderations, so hang in there.
The story will revolve around idea of epilogues of conflicts and their uncertainties. It's more about those, who wants power at all costs, and those who fears the progress.

For some reason I like the story( even thoe, honestly, you didnt do a good job of executing it), I would love to help out the mod but mapping is the only thing im good at. I'll watch it just to see what happens
