Warcraft Total War is a total conversion mod for Medieval II Total War. Our goal is to bring the Warcraft universe into a Total War game. This mod will feature epic battles with units from the Warcraft universe and a new campaign that will cover the events of the Third War and beyond.
Bantu Chieftain, the modeller of Warcraft Total War, have finished the Vrykul strat-models. They had some glitches in the beginning and it took a while until they were finally ready.
I had finished the Vrykul recruitment, implementation of all the units and such already on july 8.
Remaining to be done is the unit/unit_info-cards, the script for the Giants so they will be one unit in the campaign as well, the strat-model cities and battle-model cities of the Vrykul (they will be Scourge-style for the most part), mercenaries and regionals.
We are going to sacrifice the custom battle faction variety for more units in the campaign based on locale. The Trolls will get the other Trolls when taking their territory, the Dwarves will get the other Dwarves and so on. Lots of the rebel units will become mercenaries as well or regionals.
They look great, also the update in the margin text looks very promising, beig able to acquire units regionally if they are the same race or faction.
