Warcraft Total War is a total conversion mod for Medieval II Total War. Our goal is to bring the Warcraft universe into a Total War game. This mod will feature epic battles with units from the Warcraft universe and a new campaign that will cover the events of the Third War and beyond.

hmmm, pavise shields, awesome!
This are the "Lordaeron Militia". Remember one of the intro movies in Warcraft 3 where human armies meets head-on w/ the orchish horde? Well, the guys there that have this large shields for our mod is the "Lordaeron Spearmen"... and the "Lordaeron Militia"(the one on the pic above) are their poorer cousins back home while they're away in campaign:P.
well never saw that in the series, but as it is a(total war) it must got realistic warfare and in the game you must have something to counter mounted units,i don't now but the undead obdominations and the elfs bears must work like a mounted troop,so this could make a balance to the game making tier1 troops more usefull.
