War of the Silmarils is a sub-mod of Third Age: Total War, the ever popular total conversion for Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms. The goal is to follow the lore as closely as possible and faithfully reproduce the heroic First Age of Tolkien's Middle-earth in the Medieval II: Total War engine. War of the Silmarils features many new unique factions, each complete with a roster of units, a completely new campaign map of Beleriand and the lands to the North, and much more. Light Teleri skirmishers with javelins and round shields hailing from the Falas.

From the white-foaming shores of the Falas and its havens do these Teleri skirmishers hail. Though their Lord is Cirdan the Shipwright, they march in the hosts of Finrod, for there was friendship between those two Lords, and they sought to aid one another.
Thus the mariners and shore-dwelling Teleri marched under the banners of the Lord of Nargothrond in times of peril, bearing the his device, and that of the Falas high. Though the Teleri were not as valiant as the Noldor, they were still swift and enduring, and they were armed with javelins for throwing, and round, light shields for the catching of orcish darts.
With great speed can these warriors run, and far do they throw their javelins which even the most heavily armoured of orcish warriors fear.
No warriors of the battle line these mariners are, but they are stout and can decimate enemy ranks.
