Vanilla? Madder AKA VMD or VMD Sim is a Deus Ex vanilla conversion focused heavily on RPG and roleplay elements, immersive sim gameplay, modernization/QOL, and more. Skill trees, hunger/stress/smell systems, in depth character customization, status effects from foods, and so much more are included. It also boasts the ability to run with almost any mod, and, in the future, will be able to be used as a near-universal starting point for any total conversion. Note: While not beta or demo, the project is in phase 1 of development. The project will reach its ultimate form at phase 4. Even at this relatively early point in its life, it is ready for quite a few hours of gameplay and boasts many fun features. Arguably, it is very much worth at least one try. Or not. You're allowed to dislike it, too.

Description

A brief rundown of crafting is as follows:
-Crafting can be done in the form of either mechanical crafting or medical crafting. Respectively, these are based on either Hardware (Formerly: Electronics) or Medicine skill.
-More skill level increases your crafting efficiency for craft and breakdown actions. You may use Elbow Grease (For Hardware) or PHD In Chemistry (Medicine) to increase your efficiency further, but at the cost of 2 talent points and advanced skill requirement.
-The simplest recipes can be done in-pocket. All crafting is done with either Scrap (For Hardware) or Chemicals (For Medicine). Most recipes require at least the use of the inventory item, although the robot allocated to the skill will grant the ability to craft everything you have the skill for. Speaking of which, different recipes also have different skill level requirements, in addition to different complexity levels.
-The Toolbox is the inventory item for Hardware, and consumes 1x1 in space. The Chemistry Set is the inventory item for Medicine, and consumes 2x1 in space, although it can be rotated like any weapon. Repair bots are where you craft for Hardware, and Medical bots are where you craft for medicine. If you want to avoid spending inventory space on crafting items, you can save up for crafting at robots instead, although this will limit your ability to react in the moment.
