A modification for Unreal II: The Awakening, bringing a new storyline, weapons and environments to the already well recieved game.
An exciting new storyline will follow Ben "Cutter" Scottman through a turbulent adventure in the deepest, darkets recesses of space, where both human and alien dangers await him on his quest to clear [EDIT] and to defeat [EDIT].

The narrative is coming along nicely, our modelers and mappers are hard at work honing their skills, the new website is being built up and everything is moving (albeit slowly).

Hi All, well it's been a long time since I saw this page on my computer screen so I thought I would fill you all in.
The original Unreal II based MERCS did indeed die a death due to reasons I won't go into, but the good news is that MERCS is now set to be reborn using the Half-Life 2 Source engine.
Expect an updated entry for the new MERCS to be added soon. And this time, I promise you it won't die a death as the old one did. ;)
something tells me it ain't happening right now, HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW NECROMANCY? because the mod has been left for a long time, maybe they somehow forgot all about it? nah!

i just bought unreal 2 and i was also dissapointed by its shortness. This mod looks to be the best mod in the works for unreal 2. Dont let me down guys!

I agree with Dr@gon-UK, it needs a good mod like M E R C S, cant wait to see it when its done :)
This game's main disappointment for me was it's shortness-it deserves a decent mod and this looks bloody good so far.
Can't wait to play it when finished.
