Reasonable Marines: You're gonna need a Multi-Melta for this particular abomination! This is not your typical megarachnid my fellow brother, as tempting as it may be to flame it, it wouldn't have any effect.
Reasonable marine: Looks forwards: a commissar is taking a Leman Russ into melee with a killa-kan so that he may hit it with his sword, the kill-kan powerwalking to meet the tank because it's red. He looks to his right: Angry Marines charging with nailed planks whilst screaming "fuuuuuuuu". He looks to his left: a choir of tech-priests are chanting and lubing themselves with holy ointment in order to unjam a autocannon. He looks back: sees the Adepta Sororitas torching several villages because one of the sisters saw a very large rodent in the fields. A telltale sign of mutation due to heretical corruption. Looking forward again he sees a marine with a large beard and a wooden shield come riding towards him on a massive wolf, the marine howling to the sky and the wolf looking embarrassed. The pair stops before the reasonable marine and he can smell the alcohol on the bearded marine's breath before he even opens his mouth to speak. "I used to be a reasonable marine. But then I took a codex to the knee and now Fenris belongs to the nords. Woof." This nonsensical statement causes a single tear to fall down the cheek of the reasonable marine...

Kinda amazing how the Eldar were able to deal with these during the war.
The Eldar were no slouches in the warmachine and superweapon departments either back then, not to mention having access to psychic powers and vortex guns.
