NEWS AT LAST! Sorry ladies and gentlemen for the lack of updates and upkeep on anything these days but for those who stuck with us, THANK YOU! The Ultimate Apocalypse mod team is going through very tough times and I hope you understand our situation. But, onto the news!
Some of you (yes some) are aware of a new update on its way within an undetermined time frame (To Be Determined). It will be released at a slow pace and may take a while to accomplish due to our situations, but we are figuring out a way to meet in-between. In short: We would like to finally (could take a couple months) release fan made addons and with the assistance of other team members provide mini patches. An update of UA is far from released and it is time to give content, or at least something to keep our followers occupied! So today, screenies and some news. Fetch. :)
DAWN OF WAR 3? What are our thoughts? Undecided yet but we'll post something eventually, slowly (due to real life situations)... you'd be able to see updates of it here on Lord Cylarne's channel: Youtube.com
Spread word! The creators are not well known in comparison to our mod. Examples? Well, here is some UA content you won't find anywhere else if you are subscribed!

Relicnews is closed down. Lord Cylarne (me) is interested in knowing the cost per month of buying (or pitching in) and affording relicnews. If you are the owner of the forum or are under any authority of owning it, please, please PM Lord_Cylarne today asap. I'm willing to revive it or at least help out if I'm unable to afford it entirely, thank you. :)
Screw Dawn of War 3, UA is better
Depends on if modding support takes off in dow 3, base game might be bad but I don't play vanilla dow 1 either so
I really don't think Relic would provide good 'modding support' though.
I doubt it , a game has to inspire the community and modders and dawn of war did that , DOW3 tries to put it self everywhere at once thats why it fails , is it starcraf? Is it moba clone? It doesn't even know what it is. Dawn of war 2 at least had a good campaign...
DoW2 had the same effin campaign for each and every race. In Soul Storm you could at least decide for yourself in which order you'd like to "liberate" the regions, but in DoW 2 you couldn't even do that. The only decisions were "which Item do you wanna use on your heros?" and "do you want to do bonus missions?" and while this makes for a rather easy way to tell a story, it is a terribly lazy game design (roleplayers call this "rail roading").

What exactly is meant by fan-made add-ons? The only one I'm aware of was the titan mod that got rolled into UA.
