Ultimate Apocalypse is a mod for Dawn of War Soulstorm, which aims to create the most diverse possible unit and faction selection within the confines of the original DOW engine. We strive to create the most engaging and balanced Warhammer 40,000 game that we can, without sacrificing the fun factor. From hordes of Orks to the towering Titans, you can always find a new way to play UA. We invite all of you to join us on our Discord server to keep up with the development of the mod!
This one is devoted to our Community God PsykoTenshi (AKA. Bread is Delicious. Which really is, trust me) and my personal perception of the most common problems regarding mods for DoW. Especially those which have alot of dependancy Mods such as the UA Mod.
This little tool is supposed to:
-Check all the prerequisite mods needed in order to launche the Mod
-Allow you to keep track of your installed Mods and see what you're currently missing
-Launch the game directly, once all prerequisites got in place, via the mod menu.
No fiddling around with CTD's anymore from missing mods once you updated the core mod!
Currently this little helper is beeing tested by the UA Mod team und should be soon, as it proves to be stable, be available for public use.
This Mod Manager will work with ANY Mod you have currently installed.
At first I was like, "Why? There's already a mod manager in-game."
Then I read the description and I was like, :D
Yeah the idea behind that tool was giving you information, not like the in-game Mod manager which simply crashes and burns, for why your desired mods won't run ^^.
Also if you want to run a different mod you have to load the game with the last mod first then change the mod and wait again to load the other mod.
No issue anymore with this tool! Start any mod anytime.
Niiiice :D
This tool will be incredibly useful to everyone, that's for sure.
Also, why is the DXP2 and W40k mods number two and three on the list? Shouldn't they be at the bottom to prevent vanilla content from overriding mod content?
As far as i know these requirements mean, that you require data from these "submods" and thus DoW shall fail to activate the mod if not all these submods are installed.
Unless for example Skyrim, load orders doesn't matter in DoW. Just be sure to have the required mod folders in place! That's what this tool is for helping you ^^
I love that guy. No, I worship this guy. May the Rocket Banana dance forever with you, Tenshi !
Tenshi didn't make this, Cosmocrat did.
First, nice :D but second, where does you GIF come from cosmocraft? :p
