Hi guys,
The previous steam installation guide is not necesarry. You need to place the launcher at the right place and install the mod just like as cd-version. Then create a shortcut by hitting the link inside the launcher and hit the 'Play' button. It will start the mod for you :D

Hello,
I have Rome total war installed with steam. I have moved the launcher over to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold where the rometw.exe file is located. Run the game as administrator. However I get an error message stating Unable to find skeleton 'fs_office_car_axis'. Have tried reinstalling with no success.
I have windows 10.
Go to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\1942\data\animations folder.
Can you see any files there?

I have the same problem with the steam edition of the game and the mod. I also reinstalled it and it didn't worked not even the file is in the game folder. Hope you can help me.

Hello, the launcher randomly stops at installing 0.9 1.7 gb and then proceeds to restart the launcher at downloading/installing version 1.2.1
If i let these go through then the desktop shortcut wont even show and would immediately crash upon starting the game tellig me is missing some files including the generator.
Im on windows 7 , steam version
Please download the first patch 1.0 manually from moddb. Its the first release and therefore its a huge size for a zipped file (1,7 GB). Extract the content as instructed and then run the launcher again. It should start updating after 1.0 :)

If you guys cant make a mod work right/ download its self in the right spot to work right STOP MAKEING THEM!!!!
What is this for attacking comment?! Go back to the shadow retard. Its impossible to let the mod search for the right spot, as it requires me to look into your files which is not allowed and against privacy...

Agreed, it installs ok, and there are files under the 1942 folder, but when running the launcher it says a ton of files are missing. Complete trash garbage and a waste of my time. Delete!
You need a solid internet connection and enough memory to download and install big updates. That's why I suggest installing the 1.0 manually, and THEN use the launcher to receive the updates
