Doom 2016 weapons ripped from snapmap by AlphaEnt. It features frantic oldschool gameplay, as well as smooth rips, controls responsiveness and a (work in progress) arcade mode for extra mayhem.

As teased on the trailer (and now in the gameplay), players should be able to switch weapons aestethics, between smooth rips and oldschool sprites ala D4D. Weapons will behave different according to the choosen theme (oldschool weapons won't throw grenades or melee and damage would be pretty similar to vanilla values), but fun is still the same.

That being said, this feature is currently incomplete and some minor issues are expected for open alpha. I hope to fix them for Open beta, but still wanted to share it anyways, so that way i can get some feedback on parts/mechanics to improve.

Currently, both classic and modern weapons are merged in the same weapon, but the idea is to have 2 separate playerclasses and up to which one you choose, which weapon should you get (but weapons should be separate, not merged, so that's the current issue. I need to figure it out a way to make a differnt weapon spawn, up to which playerclass you have chosen.)
