Tiberium Secrets was a C&C3; mod that was developed from 2011-2020. Our vision was to create a future for the Command & Conquer universe. We had 3 new factions planned, and managed to release 1/3 of our planned content. We scoped too big, and unfortunately needed to cancel the other 2 new factions. These included novel mechanics, lore, and IP. etc. Development has been sign sealed, and delivered. All that is required to play the ASI is a working copy of C&C3;: Tiberiumn Wars. All of the content is FREE! Of Charge. Explore to your hearts content! Love it or hate it, all things must end, so new things can grow.

This thread is Archived, please repost for specific feedback on ideas

This is to be used as a theme reference:

The Global defense Initiative is now more focused on Tiberium ablation then ever before. They will retain all their iconic units and technologies, and will be more defensively geared, and will retain their steamrolling tactics.

They have become more industrious and efficient, since they're influence is waning across the world.

They use ion, railgun, hover , sonic, and Firestorm tech, etc.

They are guardians of the last Blue zones, and fight every second of every minute of every day to serve and protect the civilians, and atempt to reclaim yellow zones.

Reclamation is costly and time consuming, they continue to work to hold their ground against the Ecological Cancer because that is all they can do.

Armor superiority may no longer be enough.

As stated the storyline will follow after KW. Thus, would it be possible to import units from the expansion and into Tiberium Secrets? This would largely be of benefit for the 'iconic' Titan and Wolverine Mk. II, both of which could be equipped with GDI specific technologies.

* Titan:
Uparmored Tier 3 unit (bolted on ceramic armor panels?).
-Its weapon could be a miniaturized Ion Particle Cannon; effective against almost anything it hits, but with a very slow fire rate.
-On the opposite side of the mech it could have/ be upgraded with a Firestorm forward facing shield, thus granting the chance to negate some hostile fire.

* Wolverine:
Uparmored Tier 2 or 3 unit.
-One weapon could be a Sonic Resonance Amplifier, a short range higher damage weapon (such as found on the "Shatterer") that can be force fired on the ground to destroy/control the spread of Tiberium.
-The other weapon could be a sonic grenade launcher, a long range lower damage weapon.

We can indeed extract from there, and all C&S i believe, (well the ones by EA)however they will likely need a redesign to accommodate their new roles, and may be better to be made from scratch.

name: Battlemaster
Type: Heavy-medium walker (somewhere in between)
role: All-aspect
weapons: dual rapid shotgun with smart-choke(fires a spray of bullets at a relatively fast rate, the choke reducing spread regarding the range, being great at close and minimal at max range.), sonic grenade array ( a quadruple barreled array of sonic grenade dispensers)
looks: like a wolverine, it has the one of each shotguns armed at both his arms which can rapidly take down an endless number of infantry. the sga ( sonic grenade array) is split between 2 dual dispensers at both his shoulder, made to take down heavy vehicles, though it is inaccurate toward faster vehicles. the grenades are also reasonably effective at infantry. its head is the cockpit, and the entire walker stands 7.5 metres tall.
abilities: aura of courage ( increases the movement and attack speed of nearby units)
Upgrades: AP ammo ( no need to explain)
cost: 2600
needed: tech lab
Note: this is a adversary of the Overlord idea i posted on the ASI suggestions

and here just a random idea that can be used for heavy weapons

Name: Fire storm dagger
use: expands a thin sheet of firestorm energy like a dagger from the weapon, virtually destroying anything at many time (well, infinite technically speaking regarding the nature of firestorm energy) the power of a sonic weapon. it simply cuts through the matter, and can literally split a tank.
possible use: heavy tanks, upgrade for sonic emitter.

I don't know about anyone else, but should the GDI take on the 'take and hold' mentality, then what follows might surely deserve their perspective places within the faction. As I see it, the faction could benefit from more, though all useful, defensive emplacements, as well as a similar approach to armored infantry as CnC4 presented, possibly as a later game upgrade. [Anything within these are my notes/ observations.]

[This picture is largely self explanatory. While the watch tower remains as a early game, lightly armed/ armored observation emplacement (with a small radius of stealth detection?) this emplacement could be a more expensive structure that could target all forms of units (i.e. land and air). An upgrade might replace the default gun with an auto cannon.]

---

[This would likely be at the heart of any forward fire base. The two large cannon could be direct fire but with the same 'fire at designated target' ability as the Juggernaut. One thing I like is in fact the point defense mini-guns. A global upgrade might be point defense guns on most GDI buildings.]

---

[Shows the style of infantry GDI could upgrade to, maybe a lower grade of zone trooper with portable Ion Cannon or shoulder mounted rail gun.]

---

[While this is said to be a Stealth Site, I see it as working in a large sensor defense for detecting enemy forces. It could possess in-ground vibration sensors to detect burrowed units.]

---

[Might make for an interesting multipurpose vehicle that could except varying types of upgrades to fulfill different roles on the battlefield.]

---

[Might make for an interesting call-in tank, being lighter in weight, with a cannon, pop-up point defense turret and sensor suite/ targeting unit, either to detect or designate targets with a laser for an offensive buff to allies. It might also have the same capability as the Sniper team allowing indirect fire support to fire in a radius around it.]

---

These are just my interpretations on the above images.
*Artists include, but likely aren't limited to, Dave Max, Steve Bur, and Eric Hillear.

we no have burrowers (though i guess they will come)

the tank is nice though, reminds me of the RA3 allied tank

We plan to give burrow tech to Nod, so any counter technologies would still fit.

ya, there are a lot of old art we can get inspiration from.
