This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.
Now this is interesting looking unit.

Exactly, its based on never used concept for cnc3 orca fighter, i find it most interesting concept, but not for combat vehicle so i get this idea with gdi front line support unit that will perform better than battlebase.
Battlebase might be cut from production line entirely (left only in WB and campaing of course) im not much comfortable with how it looks like and works in game, it just doesnt pay off. Everything might change but maybe i have found good replacement for rig and battlebase.
Battlebase was okay, but it was lacking. For a defense structure it was REALLY weak, and it couldn't preform its role well. I do however like the idea of a mobile defense platform. Maybe something better then the current Rig.
However. I am a big fan of this Condor. I'm loving this guy right now.
I love it Carnius!! But can we see a overhaul of the standard orca?? The CNC3 model doesn't quite fit in with your new models.......
Good point. i mean look at NOD. They got a mobile repair vehicle(dare i say it the phantom), and yeah i lacked of building up rigs in skirmish. it wasn't a good benefit for me anyway.

the rig should stay just for so its thare,i normaly dont build it but it is good to have for when you set up a outpost wile it stands guard.

This looks futuristic but in a GDI way, now that everything in this mod turns from a good copy of TS units to extremely good original designs based on TS, I think it's perfect. And I think I might have a problem dealing with these, no need to deploy and should be kinda fast, the Rig doesn't look much of a threat now.

I use the battle base/rig quite often, but I do agree it could use a serious buff to make it more useful.Didn't the battle base used to have landing pads for aircraft in a early version of CnC3? Maybe you could bring that back to make it more useful.
perhaps the rig could use slave aircraft, also increase the hp on it also fix the armor stats battle base is extremely weak to cannon type damage but strong versus rocket damage could fix that to be like other structures, allow battle base Railgun, and allow garrison garrison i think will make it very useful

Since all GDI aircraft return to base when out of ammo (a base with repair drones) I assume this would repair ground units but that presents a problem:
1) a support aircraft will move out ahead of the attacking force because its not hampered by terrain
2) anti-air is quite powerful and would rip it apart
so how would you mitigate these vulnerabilities?
The player can avoid this by using some advanced move options, like formation move and path move.
Uhm.. interesting. I will try it.
Formation move or moving the units in groups takes care of the aircraft moving ahead and obviously they don't always need to be in areas where they could be threatened by enemy anti aircraft. Ground units can always isolate the enemy anti air threat unless the aircraft threat is an aircraft itself which is where fire hawks anti air attack or APC and other ground to air hard counters come in.
They could also be more heavily armored then the standard gunship or not depending on decisions that are yet to be seen.
Bigger question.
It does dawn on me though that GDI units in this mod are taking a TS style and upgrading it heavily with some CNC3 concepts and some units even have a hint they they are more advanced looking then some of the units in CNC4 since some of those look like they took a step backwards.
Is the Firehawk's Design going to be changed in terms of looks to match the new style of units for this mod?
I don't know but I don't think Firehawks will be changed. Their design was pretty good.
BTW the Rig should stay but with some improvements, for example more hp and in battle base mode can be promoted. At the moment the battle base uses railgun upgrades.

anyway we both using same cnc3 concept art, who did that firs doesn´t matter, really. I made support aircraft from it, sort of awacs with repair ability, because i think this concept fits better for support than combat aircraft, its just my personal feeling when i look at it and it has nothing to do with TA version. I dont understand why he mentioned TE at all when its based on CnC3 art.

Givin what you've done with every other GDI Aircraft except the firehawk and CNC3 orca I'd love to see what your idea of a Remake of the orca would look like....
TA and TE are great mods. The concept art is free for all and everyone can use it as he likes.

Uhh.. how to say: Needs more Z-depth. Sorry but seem too flat for an aircraft :p
As for what could be done: Raise the tail,connect tail on mainbody instead wings. Lower both wings so theyr below the main-body. And i would replace that tail rotor with an VTOL type jet-engine. So in the end this would be an VTOL-Jet/Heli hybrid hi-tech thingy.
