Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

As Dr.Thrax once said and I do believe it fits here, ''Please, look all you wish, for this is the last time you'l ever see my stronghold. Prepare to tell your three eyed grandchildren of your defeat this day''.
No matter how much I like the gdi mechs and railgun tech, PEACE THROUGH POWER.

Nice model and texture...
Just a suggestion, the top looks a little empty, maybe this would be a good place to add some detail that incorporates team-colour?

epic, but, in TS sometimes i saw flames going out from smoke stack and i really missed it in TW, it could be nice effect i think

The GDI Tiberium Refinery has the intermittant flame effect from one of the smoke stacks that your thinking of.

The Nod Tiberium Refinery alot of the inner workings are hidden beneath the main structure/body. This is for protection, containment of tiberium and of course Nod has the superior refinement techniques.

dont get me wrong every thing u did to nod beats the **** out of gdi
much better than cnc3 and tib sun
but 2 things still look odd
the refinary is really nice but i dont know how can the harvester will fit in it while putting tib
also can u like fix the obelisk
i think the crysatal of it looks seperated from the body or looks like it can move which isnt good for its look
so maybe just add something to it that will make it look like an entire piece

thats all
other than that really really nice work i love what u guys are doing and i cant wait for it

Nod's Harvester docks in a very streamlined manner compared to GDI's (thou they'll take same time to dock/unload) to keep things fair. But you'll get what I mean when you see it.

The Obelisk design is based off an early Concept for the Obelisk done by Westwood for Tiberian Sun. The Crystal is positioned that way so it can be tilted and angle adjusted for its different Firing Modes. the Nod Obelisk deploys between two firing states and the Crystal changes position for each. This is why it is like that, it'll make even more sense when we reveal what the difference between the two firing modes are.

would this actually mean that nod will get more money from tib drops while the refinery will cost more
that would be an excellent idea don't u think?

Need to be very very careful when making changes like that to the faction Economy's it can potentially unbalance the whole game.

In an earlier design of TSR, we had it so the GDI Harvester Carried more Tiberium/slower, while Nods Refinery gave more money for Tiberium returned to Refinery so Nods Harvester was smaller/faster.

We might have a play with things like this. But we'll likely keep GDI and Nod's Tiberium Harvesting/Refinement the same in actual gameplay. to Ensure both players are getting same amount of money at the same rate *important* at least at the start of the game. Obviously base expansion and capturing tech structures increases income. But GDI and Nod's Harvesters will have unique abilities at mid-late game. Refinery differences could occur late game still deciding that one's a tricky one as balancing is very important.

I just notice that the Nod refinery had least green light comparing to the final concept. Why is the green light on the side of the refinery isn't as bright as the concept?

Its a daytime map, and didn't want to go overdo the glow effect.
Nighttime it will have a stronger glow.
