Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

I like where this is going, but the stacks on the power plant and the radar dish don't quite fit The Brotherhood's low profile style. I think the dish could at least be sized down a little, and maybe the stacks have a little darker coloration.

I'm still playing with the just right colouring of Nod,

What I was going for here, was a variety of shades of grey. Some light & some dark. But yeh this will undergo further adjustments.

Didn't want to go C&C3's route of Nod is Black & Red that's it. As Tiberian Sun clearly has a variety of Shades of Grey particularly noticable on the Devil's Tongue, and things like the Nod Radar.

I love to see 50 of these lined up together

so that my orca bomber can wreck them!

One of my favourite weapons. I usually use it as an adaptable base defence and gdi deterant. The con yard has be curious though, how does it pack and unpack? looking at it makes me think the red glass bits slide together like stepped plating into the bit that looks like bone ontop. that makes me think what the mcv itself would look like, would it be on tracks or legged like the cnc3 version. i look forward to seeing it, and playing this mod.

Ah, good old artillery, I remember back then when these things didnt miss and could fire into Fog of War.

I was like screw walls, I'll just use artillery.

Looking forward to using it.

I hate this unit badly, only because it's so annoying, it always kills my units from a distance and I'm not that airforce guy D:<
Still, awesome model!

Sorry for that double posting, but are you going to implement epic units, like the kodiac or the monteauc?

I'm considering the Montauk and Kodiak, for a Commander's GameMode. *Basically you will be inside the Montauk as Nod or inside the Kodiak as GDI. The objective is to destroy the enemy Commander. They'll both be quite strong but will act more like support units to your forces rather then Uber death machines because neither is.

Sounds really great, but how will it be armed, and what kind of weapon does you think about??
I mean GDI Kodiac- probably gets shredd AA Guns and NOD Montauk- some kind of laser weapon.
But it was never seen in the videos of TS what kind of weapon they have, IMO they shouldn't be overpowerd ore war machines, like some people whant them to be. Instead it could be a kind of deployable outpost where you have some special powers in the unit view. Let me think, there are four places. So what about a button to deploy/undeploy for NOD and GDI, only for GDI a drop pod of Infantary/special Troops, a call for a transporter with wolverines and finally one bad *** special ability, don't know what exactly. And for NOD a subteranean APC that deploys some infantary, a bungee attack (like the one from GDI orcas), and one finit ability...

My favorite unit.

CABAL: "Inferior Tactics Detected"

arty spamm,FTW.

Thinking of the limitations of the C&C3 engine,it won't be able to be like in TS.I remember the function deploy to fire. The unit deployed automatically when oredered to fire.
I hope this mod will finish sometime this year.

While it is technically possible to have only manual deploy (the TickTank does have this), we currently have the Artillery on automatic mode to make it easier to handle.

Description

The Nod Mobile Artillery, must deploy into a fixed immobile state before it can fire due the immense recoil of the barrel lobbing shell's across the battlefield. It has quite a long range and is more accurate & precise then GDI's Juggernaut Artillery. You may also notice some visual tweak's we have been making to Nod ;).
