First of all, we have to start with the history of the Midlands itself. Long ago, the Z'olor, the Men before Men, ruled what was then known as Kuria. The Northern and the Southern Principalities lived in harmony to some extent, and most of the fighting was unified against the Elves, who had been discriminated against for all the days written. But at a time, the governors in the south came to rebellion and Ukuris, governor of Xarak, led an assault on the capital of Kuria. Bitter war followed as a result of poor treatment of the south and the rebellion and much blood was shed before the Elves intervened. They invaded huge areas of land in the north, weakening the Northern Principalities to the verge of destruction. Finally, the emperor, or Alreveran, brought the warring nations under control and returned fire upon the Elves. This caused civil war amongst them, splitting them into the two clans; The Varagets, meaning "Cowards," and the Loramons, which was an insult among Elves as it was the Elvish name for an Orc brute. So, the dumb fought the fearful for decades until finally, the Varagets retreated into the forest. Confident with their victory, the Loramons renewed their attack on the Z'olor and were promptly decimated. The superior forces of the re-unified Alreveran's alliance, the Sicielate, without Ukuris or the principality of Xarak, set to work driving the Loramons back until they had no where to turn. They went west, to the Docks of Kaisata, and sailed to the distant land known as Ethka, where they rebuilt their clan as the new Loramon-Ethka. The Varagets were allowed to stay in the forests, as they caused no more trouble.
But the reign of the Z'olor eventually came to an end when the Olomahats, the first Men, sailed in from the northern isles and invaded much of the land to the M'oloa Split in the center of the Midlands. The race evolved to become the Men today, the Korad, the Maradrim-Ka, the Kharad North, the Kaer-Farians, even some Olomahats still remain from the days of their invasion, and the northern Archipelago of Olom still thrives.
That was history though. The only surviving tradition of the Z'olor is the Alreverans, who still rule the Midlands justly.

Here is an overview of the kingdoms and tribes that are playable and non-playable in this mod.

The Silver Gate of Z'oloamon
Land of the House of Doran, the line of the modern Alreverans. Home to the Legions and Keeps that are famous throughout the Known Lands.

The Korad Order
Created by the Alreveran to stop the northern and southern kingdoms from fighting.

The Maradrim-Ka
The Southerners, masters of the desert and bitter enemies of the Kharad North.

The Kharad North
The Northerners, warriors of renown and strength that have yet to be bested. Bitter enemies of the Maradrim-Ka.

The Kellorian Kingdoms
Clans and tribes under the great King, dwelling in the mountains. Similar to insects, known sometimes as Bugbears, and with nearly unbreakable armor.

The Loramon Elves
The Elves living to the west in Ethka, the Light Elves

The Varaget Elves
The Elves living in the Midlands, corrupted by the ways of Man. Known at times as the Dark Elves.

Kaer-Far
One of the most influential Sicielate kingdoms next to the Silver Gate only, what they lack in military power, they possess in wealth and diplomatic skill.

Kor Dolgorian
The land of the Cave-Peoples of Baurn. The dwellers of the dark and musty caverns are the rulers of this place, but when they come to the surface, they are a force to be reckoned with.

The Grand Alliance of Rilden
The alliance created from the ashes of the Kaer-Far, the Kor Dolgorians and the Western Korad.

Makoorth and the Kol
Land of the powerful Orc smiths and suppliers of the most well made Ilyrian weapons and armor ever found.

The Cult of the Curled Viper
Worshippers of the dark entities and demons that pious Men dare not even speak of.

The Olomahat Archipelago
The technologically advanced sailors and engineers that inhabit areas in the north of the Midlands and the Archipelago.

The Tribes of Turuk-Ak
Still in the stone age and deeply disadvantaged, these tribes in the island to the east are the biggest help to the south in the war between the Maradrim-Ka and the Kharad as they cause extreme wealth in the port cities of the south.

The Vengeht M'or
Dark minions of Ukuris reborn, said to be invincible and bringers of the Ilmestyal End, the apocalypse in the Midlands. Sometimes called Ikinaulisar, Warriors of Ikinaulis (Ukuris' Sword)

Most of these kingdoms are not on great terms, and dozens of alliances and leagues are constantly being created but then broken. The Midlands are a place of war, chaos and bloodshed. Perhaps you can unite the warring factions under one ruler…you.

Possible Prerelease

News

Basically, I've been working on this mod for a while but it still isn't that good and nothing is doing super well. The campaign doesn't work and only like half the factions work in custom battles. But I was considering releasing what I have so far to get ideas/criticism to help it get better. You can only play a couple factions for custom battles, so it's like a demo, but it may interest some people. So here it is. If 5 people comment on this saying they want this, I will do it. If not, I'll continue work on the mod until it is done then release it. Hope you guys respond,

Gurkiman
