I understand this isn't the greatest mod EVAR! But, this was just a funny little experiment mod for the hell of it, but please don't complain if this isn't the remake of Dear Esther. At least say something nice, please?

That's the point. It's supposed to be so ridiculously basic that no other mod out there can match it. Or maybe he just likes ****ing with us.
i think as long as he's adding new content in his own pack and changing anything as long as it's his own work, i'd consider it a mod. what if it's just a compilation of patches of him showing off what he's learning as he becomes a developer? and the out come is something original? what would you say then? you have no idea where he's coming from let alone what all of his plans or future plans involve.
Well... There are some elitist **** who believe, that everyone has the skills already, when they start modding.

Ahh, please. At least put some textures on those walls.
Basic doesn't have to mean lazy.
Apart from that it's not that bad, I mean it's just a little bit trolling (at least) and not a big time moddb spammer (like other *cough* mods I can tell about), but still a few extra weapons wouldn't hurt. I'm not thinking about different textures, but something with a different gameplay aspect, like the crossbow which isn't your average sniper rifle, it's need a different gameplay style. So like I'm thinking maybe the flare gun, or a grenade launcher type of weapon (hell if you already use the TF2 font you can get other ideas from there)
Well it's not like I can try this mod anyway, because I doubt it will work with the free ATI-card HL2 deathmatch.
