This is "The Messenger / Связной" mod, latest version 2.0, hand translated by me. Please read the "Readme" after downloading for more information.
THIS IS THE TRANSLATION ONLY! DOWNLOAD LINKS FOR THE MOD AND ITS MAIN PAGE CAN BE FOUND BELOW.
Installation:
1- Download the mod from either here or here (torrent).
2- Copy and paste the translated "gamedata" folder to the base mod folder, overwrite when necessary.
3- Move the "gamedata" and "bin" to Call of Pripyat folder and play.
Tested on both retail and Steam version of CoP.
About:
"The Messenger" is the prologue of the "Bad Company" mod. It tells the story of the stalker called Mason, and how he made a lot of enemies, friends and got into various troubles. The main character is a mercenary, his task is to infiltrate a group of diggers and find out about their plans. At first glance, the task seems simple but...

I'm sure I will. The mod looks great in the screenshots. It seems like I'm seeing a small expansion for COP. Something like Half-Life 2: Lost Coast. That's the impression it gives me. Hehe.
When I do the second task for Trapper, the one where we hunt dogs, I get no new task, task updated or task completed info. After we kill them, he says "Thanks, here's some money", but there's no task to update and he doesn't actually give me anything.
The quest failed to trigger to the next state while teleporting you to the location. Simply reload a save and it'll work as intended.
It could be that I said "I'm not ready yet" when he first asked me, and went to to smthng and then started the quest. Maybe you have to agree as soon as he asks, or else the quest fails to trigger, that's the only thing that comes to mind.
Nah, thought that immediately and reloaded several times ofc, but it doesn't work. Although I will have to come back to an earlier save or start over, as it seems there's some softlock if you don't take the bear detector pack. (You mentioned it somewhere here)
Any hints about the second Sinner potion and "following the teleports?" What teleports? How to fined them?
You'll know what they look like if you've played SoC, the transparent disturbances in the air that look like anomalies.
The vision shows you where the first one is, once you find and touch it, you'll be teleported to somewhere else where there's another teleporter nearby and then another and another and so on.
