This is a group project created by the Frictional Games community. The idea was to provide each person 8 hours to create a room (or multiple rooms) within a single map and add any scripts they wished. Upon completion, the map was passed to another person, who would then add another room or area to the map. Due to the nature of this, there is no coherent story-line from room-to-room. WARNING: This map is 5MB, it might lag

Srsly, dude people made you very good and detailed maps and you decided to make a flying naked guy and no events or puzzles? I swear those maps don't deserve to have cheap jumpscares! And it ends to quickly!

Sorry but I gotta give this a 5/10 for now, if it did not have any flying naked man I think I would give this a 7/10 for very detailed immersive maps.

Think twice before working on a beautiful project like this

The flying naked guys are a kind of troll. But they're a part of amnesia and without mods with them it would die. :D

There's a patch without the flying naked guy. Removing him from it entirely would have been against the rules (one of which was "do not edit other people's contributions without their permission"). Hope you understand :)

The lack of puzzles/events/story will be mitigated in Abandoned Town project hopefully

well to be honest.. look the level design is absolutely amazing in most cases (well every people who participated in this had many hours to design those few rooms they had to create, so i had hoped for this before entering the map). the idea is also great. what i've seen here in the comments, the lack of story and meaning is all true in this case, but also it's very hard to make a true connection between maps created by different people. what i say is that it would be great that if it could get a second chapter. more maps, each one created in the same as this one did (but it would be a good idea for the last one who takes part in the project, not to make a new room, but to test the whole thing, place puzzle and collectable items, and write some scares or events for it, it would make much more sense, and could make it more interesting). all in all i'll gave this a 7/10, nice idea, more or less good implementation, but still makes no sense, and it could have been longer, i mean why just one map, this process could have been repeated a few times. about the lag, i've experienced a little sometimes, but it was not too bad :)

That would require selecting everything past a certain point (thousands of objects) and exporting them as an .expobj, then importing them in to a new map.

The reason we didn't start it like that was so all the rooms flowed together in some way (even if they looked nothing alike) - which made it easier to pass the map around and work together :)

Though, in hindsight, it might have been worth doing

Actually you wouldn't have to select everything and export it as an .expobj. You could save the map as a file called "master map" then open it and delete everything except what you want to be "level 1" then save that as level 1 (After adding a level door that leads to level 2) then re-open the master map and delete everything except what will be level 2, then save that as level 2 and so on. Still a lot of work but wouldn't require doing an expobj which are finicky anyway.
