Ridgewood has sat as a restricted site, owned by a private organisation for some 20 years. Even local law enforcement are forbidden to step foot in the area.
However in recent weeks, reports concerning the zone have flooded into the Special Task Force about missing persons, blood curdling sounds, and some witnesses claim they've encountered strange creatures lurking behind the perimeter fences.
You are the commanding officer of an elite Special Task Force. Your team has been recruited into a black ops mission to infiltrate the Ridgewood site. You objective is to investigate the reports from the area.

Getting closer to beating this now. Very tough mod! I've been trying to get a little further each night.
I made a frustrating mistake though, so I want to warn other players (in as non-spoiler-y a way as I can). There's a part of this mod where you're in a cave and you see a body laying down. Before you interact with it, make sure you've got the lights/power on in the area.
Really enjoying the mod so far! Tonight was my second attempt at it, I got quite far before a tough foe finally kicked my ***. XD Might try again tomorrow night, sun's coming up soon anyway. Sunlight's no good for spooky games. ;)
First of all, the problems Vic47 & Twitcherus has reported have either now been fixed, or responded to with the new patch. So Vic47's page long complaint can be ignored.
As for the mod, it really is something. You can tell a ton of work has gone into it, well done for that. It does completely change Killing Floor. It changes it so much that it is not Killing Floor anymore, and that is not a bad thing, it is a great thing.
It is a tough mod, not for the faint at heart, it takes concentration, because not only is it unpredictable, it's also a long slog because there are no saves. Some dislike the no saves thing, and I can understand why, but it reminds me of the classic Sega Sonic 2 days, you want to win, you have to be the best you can be.
Killing Floor took something and made it its own, this mod took Killing Floor, and flipped it on it's head and made that it's own, which is cool.
Overall a really enjoyable experience that I would like to see more of. Great work.
I have released the 1.0 Beta! Download and enjoy folks! Have a great weekend!
Cant wait :D
