Description
The Guards of Abrakhân are the Golden King's personal guard. These exceedingly cruel warriors are rumored to have been fortified by the Golden King's dark magic, fearing nobody and stopping at nothing to fulfill whatever task they are set on.

will it not look better if the belt and shoes matched the armor style the have of the helmet? like they look good but feels like they need more armor...
Not really. Although they act as the Golden King's personal entourage, they are ultimately expendable to him - in fact, one of his abilities is based on sacrificing his guards to raise Wights. The Golden King isn't going to waste armour on them.
That, and we wanted to base them roughly on the same guards from MESBG because we liked their design: Games-workshop.com
Seeing this at work during my lunch 30 minutes made me a bigger optimist for art and literature! That's how well-made these are!
Are they independently recruitable units or do they only come as the Golden King's guard?
It's a very cool addition in my opinion. I can see some kind of reminiscences from certain middle-east/crusade movies (and somewhat also in 300?) of a large-sized masked jailer/guard yet with an unprotected body as for meaning that pain or injuries aren't that important to them
