the patch killed my game. I did 3 new and clean new installations. But since patch 8.3 Age of the Ring runs not anymore. The base game works. Also the installation worked on a other Computer of mine. But not on my maindevice. Don't know what i actually can do.

I tried to install the patch, but there's a game crash, indicating that the HaradrimSpearmanVoiceattack is missing. Can you help me with this?
It most likely means that you have wrong version of 2.02 patch. Make sure that it is set to v9.0. For further help visit Age of the Ring discord server.

Peasant AI still way too hard, endless wave after wave of infinite units spammed in your direction. Does the AI have infinite resources or something?
No, it spends them in more inteligent way. If you are struggling against AI, you can always give it handicap to weaker its damage and health.
Having to cheat and nerf their health and damage isn't fun at all. Id like to at least feel like I'm learning the units strengths and weaknesses as I go. I've played this for hours getting more and more frustrated. I cannot keep up with the endless tide of enemies. You say it sends them in a more intelligent way but at the end of the day its just an endless tide of bodies in a straight line. There's zero strategy in just learning to out-spam the ai. Perhaps if there was an option to just handicap their resources to reduce the spam that would help. As it stands it just feels like it has contempt for anyone trying to learn to play it.

It is not a cheating to use gameplay feature that game gives you. It will also not prevent you from learning basic of how to approach enemy AI. If you are really struggling, I recommend watching youtubers, like Istri, who showcase how to play with each faction against AI:

Working in windows 10 i delete roaming folder 4 generate a new automatic folder and presing 8.0 shortcut launcher ...the other shortcut 8.3 of the exe of the game didnt see anywhere work or no exist ..only options 8.3 was created in destop .. hope help others .. thanks again

1) Minas Morgul isn't in 8.3. It'll be in the RotK release.

Any plans to make the campaign a little easier? At this point I cannot get to the two towers as the missions are just too difficult. Most people don't have time to spend hours honing their skills on this game to be able to play the campaign.
I understand wanting the campaign to be played as it was designed but i would at least like to be able to see whats been done but I am unable. Sacrificing playability for re-playability just seems like a poor decision. I really hope a "baby mode" is added so people who arent experts at the game can still see the campaign
That's not going to happen, I'm afraid.
Ah sad to hear that. With over 500k downloads on the mod its hard for me to imagine more than 25% of people being skilled enough to play the campaign. I can barely even play the redone vanilla campaigns :(.
I just don't really see the harm in adding a baby mode where heroes can be revied or are just incapacitated for a bit. Why would you not want more people to be able to see the amazing work put into the mod?
I think you're overstating the difficulty here.
A 'baby mode' isn't a matter of flipping a switch, note. There's 3 difficulty settings and each is linked to the other - to do what you suggest would require all settings to be much easier and that's not what the missions are designed for. Right now there's no way to change that as we are limited by what the base game offered.

The game is broken, I am reinstalling it and I cannot change the map to Camp Episode 2 due to the update error.

Just a suggestion, if you could add the Iron Hills Goat Riders in the dwarven faction that would be really nice!
Goat riders are present in Erebor faction - they can be summoned by Raven heroes and by Lord Dain when he mounts his boar. They are also available as permanent unit in Durin's Folk Adventure map.

Hello, I'm having trouble with the option shortcut icon selecting the ROTWK roaming folder and issue is it is not select it at all. What am I doing wrong when selecting it?

Is this the game as well or only a mod?
This is only a mod, and it requires Bfme 2 and Rotwk to run. If you don't have them, you can either check out Aotr wiki installation site or visit Aotr discord server, where you will also receive help with installation of both mod and required games.
