The Great War mod is a total conversion modification for Napoleon: Total War. It creates an authentic representation of World War 1-era tactics, strategies and general warfare within the game. Including stunning new visuals that include entirely new models and textures for equipment, vehicles and more, the mod immerses you into the era with brand new gameplay unlike anything you've experienced in Total War before.

Now it really makes sense! These ships look like battleships of 1870s. I can't wait to try them in-game.

Hello dear developers, could you make it possible to play the 1914 campaign in multiplayer. There is also a question about the Russian Empire, is it possible to save it through your events? Thank you in advance

Because they're not at all a good fit for the era. By WW1 they were four or five (depending on what you count) generations behind new ships. They would've been completely and utterly useless against even the oldest ships in combat usage in WW1.

If you had models, would you implement battleships actually used at that time?
