Revenant is an action role-playing video game by Cinematix Studios, released in 1999 by the publisher Eidos Interactive. Game was not really commercially successful, but I remember it as beautifull game since my chiildhood. This mod is supposed to improve some elements of original game. I'm not planning to change storyline or alter it's telling. Main thing I want to do - delete those stupid labirinths in the end. P.S. I'm not really good in english, so please forgive me my mistakes.
Now I have specific GitHub repository called Revenant API. I'll post there my scripts in python. I'm doing it as training exercise for being a python programmer, obviously, there's no practical ses to construct some specific tool for such an old game for other reasons. But I hope this might be helpfull for somebody other than me.
Simple way to stitch automaps from parts. Result is big BMP image.
Simple python script that allows you to stitch full automap from pieces.
This program allows you to open graphical DAT files of Revenant (do not mess with map DAT files). Unfortunately, files were built using proprietary structure...

There was a 3dsmax plugin released for the game including a .max version of Locke's player model. However I've been unable to find either as the archive.org version of the devs's website is broken.
It is known these were available online at some point but no longer.
Probably it was somehow related to Den Beauvais site.

I did send this guy an email but he never responded
WOW revenant can be modded? what kind of sorcery its this? O_o
It has it's own level editor, so yes, it can be modded:).
so its possible to add over time those features that were cut out due to a rushed development? Jesus what a decade to be alive!
If you're speaking about torches and ability to scare dungeon creatures with them, well... probably not (though I haven't tried yet). I approve that game allows to modify:
1) Scripts
2) Items
3) Maps
4) Sounds
5) Music
6) Player parameters
It is also more or less correct for spells.
