The Consequence of Infection is a Zombie Survival Horror Half life mod inspired by games such as Counter Strike Online 1 & 2, left 4 Dead 1 & 2 and Killing Floor 1 & 2.
Take the Role of 1 of many unique Survivors making your way through hordes of zombies with your friend Amy, Complete Objectives, Save survivors in need or go on supply runs for your home base.
Story:
An unknown infection is infecting the entire Metro City. Now Mutants and Infected are wandering around the city, killing everyone on their sight. A group of survivors (Players) must fight their way through the swarms of mutants and infected to find their way out of the city and evacuate as many civilians as they can.
Note:
This Mod is for 1-4 players only, Also, the NPC characters will be assisting you during some of your missions.
This mod uses some assets from CSO & CSO2 as well as entirely new assets created specifically for this mod.

We come before you all today to show off some progress of the mod, Granted you may have already seen them already.
Firstly; thanks to ChiabiHamaru we have more realistic breakable 3d model doors for all future maps:
these doors act similarly to the doors of left 4 dead, They will take damage over time when hit by either zombies or players and break completely when it reaches its max damage threshold:
Next, Thanks to deanamx we now have brand new weapons ported from Counter Strike Online 2, these weapons also feature Iron sights. We already have begun to improve on these weapons as I'm writing this so they are already less buggy then they are in this video:

This dude got capacity lads, beware of his consequences.
Really like the way this is looking - always wanted to see what a Left 4 Dead type game would look like in GoldSrc.
I've seen many people try and recreate l4d style gameplay in goldsrc and all have sadly faded into obscurity and never release, We hope this wont be the case for us.
Did this mod still WIP or On-Hold?
It was dead but its now been revived.
