The "Alans" Mod appears to be a leaked university project of Matthew Baxter. It was leaked of reasons unknown, despite author's warnings not to do it on his former website (which is now down.) "Alans" had received little coverage as a possible result of its warning, and that it wasn't given away that often. As a result that it was a university project, the Theme and Tags should've been in relation to it being educational, however, sadly, this mod just doesn't fit within these parameters.

Here is a complete walkthrough of this very strange mod. I'm still not entirely sure what to make of it, but it certainly played with some rather new and interesting concepts that I haven't seen in any other HL2 mod to date.
See something like this catches my eye.
I immediately downloaded it, I'll submit a full review once I believe I've gone over everything :)
