Lost and alone in a world of fallen angels and shooting stars, you struggle to find answers and escape the darkness chasing you.
I saw some people wondering if this was a 3D platformer or something in the comments of the trailer on YouTube & on discord, so just to clarify heres this lil update. You will get to blow things to tiny bloody giblets with weapons that breathe fire & shoot shards of scalding hot glass, you will get to tear open holes in reality with a gun that creates a temporary black hole, you will get to mow down mobs of enemies with an LMG more fit as an anti-aircraft gun. You will very much get to kill things in a ludicrously violent fashion should you choose to do so. Send em all to hell. I plan for things to be so outrageously violent at times that the possibility of anyone going out of their way to make a "brutal" remod for Starlight will be rendered pointless entirely.
Plus I just wanted to push another update I've been makin' tons of neat shit lately so heres this scattergun model I've been working on on & off for the past week or so, just now got it ingame, still a bit to go but I'm pretty satisfied with it for now! Also the sight gLOWS IN THE FRIGGIN DARK so thats pretty neat I guess

I'm really curious to see how this fits into the world of Starlight.
I recall some discussion regarding weapons back when this was still a Steven Universe mod where our Peridot hero snagged some weapons, perhaps maybe getting her grubby little hands on human weapons in the vain of the infamous Museum of Weapons from Demolition man.
Is something like that planned for Starlight? Where our heroine grabs some human weapons on display as war trophies or collector items in her travels? Or perhaps utilizes something more "Homely" for future weaponry?
still a lil bit on the fence about the futuristic arsenal & such, weapons are still going to be as off the wall & over the top powerful as i can possibly manage. majority of the weapons you'll encounter early on are going to be very homely, familiar, yet different. for example, this ithaca fires shards of heated glass instead of regular pellets, the main infantry rifle the angels are going to be lugging around is going to look like a frankenstein of a browning automatic rifle & an fg42, while the closer you get to the capital & the further you advance in the game, the more powerful arms you'll encounter, eventually you'll be facing off against the stars armed entirely with energy weapons & light based beam weapons, etc.
annnnd during the beginning when you have to break out of the holding facilities i do plan for you to see a ton of captured weaponry & retrofitted technology on display in some areas, the angels are going to be alot more "human" than the stars in terms of their weapons of choice & technology, while the stars mainly occupy the new city closer to the center of the capital where the technology far exceeds anything available elsewhere in prospera ;}
would their be the need for some voice actors for the angels?
