Lost and alone in a world of fallen angels and shooting stars, you struggle to find answers and escape the darkness chasing you.
Colorless, eyeless, wingless. The fallen have lost themselves completely. Those that survive the scarring eventually become fully corrupt & fall into a constant primal state of rage & bloodlust. You've got plenty of bullets to remedy that though.
These guys will shatter the facade of a calm atmosphere in an instant.
Model is very WIP, I figured the gunman chronicles scientist would be pretty neat to mess around with as a base for this NPC, I think its turned out pretty well so far (plus these fuckers actually put up a fight ingame believe me). I've also modified the animations a tad, to make them alot more "twitchy" if you know what I mean. Only a single variant right now, but theres going to be tons later on down the line. I'm just glad I've finally got something to friggin' shoot in this thing now.
Would a survival mode of sorts be a good idea? Have a semi-open map like the one in this screenshot & just stand firm as long as you can against mobs of these things, I think that'd be pretty neat!

As for survival mode, that would be neat!
Here they come...
Just reading "Gunmen Chronicles" kinda makes me want to play the game again. Good times back then. Good times.
Good idea to make them "twitchy". Should feel a lot more natural and scary then.
Also, survival modes can be fun for a change. Always a good idea nowadays to spice it up a bit.
The more I see of the mod, the more I want to dive head first into that atmosphere. Artstyle on point.
As for a survival mode. I'm actually not entirely sure what the gameplay is gonna be like but if the elements are there, I don't see why that couldn't work out.
Those guys look really scary and mad!
Here they come here comes the bastards!
Oh boy. The twitchy things reminds me of Afraid of Monsters.
I cannot stress how absolutely interesting every screenshot of this mod looks.
I'm a big fan of horde survival modes in games. One of my main reasons I still boot up Quake and Doom is for that very reason. I'd say go for it. I played Demonsteele on plenty of Invasion maps on Zandronum all the time and that was practically the only way I played that mod. Map variety might play a factor into that. If it's just one big giant open ended map that might be pushing it.
I'd play the hell outta it tho
