Is mod acts strangely with SW:Interregnum. I don't know why, but all the ships end up looking wet or slimy. And they are always reflecting a purple light.
Basically, you have enabled the PBR shaders and then not put any of the PBR textures for the E4X & Interregnum content in place. So yeah, that's going to look strange since the shaders and textures required are quite different.
doesnt work for me i got this error
Failed to find StringID: 'IDS_CUSTOMGALAXY_NAME_RANDOMMINI'. NOTE: Any following StringID failures will be supressed.
ok i found out what the problem was, i have not used the opt-in version
Remastered is about shaders and textures. Shaders run on the GPU and textures are generally more memory impacting. There shouldn't be much, if any, impact on the CPU over stock.
E4X is about making changes to the way the base game plays. Remasteredd is a graphical update mod that changes the way the game looks but doesn't make any gameplay changes.
They can be used together, although a special compatibility mod is required as well. It's in the Graphical Minimods pack for E4X/Interregnum. You will need to enabled all three (or more if you have other minimods active) in the right order. See the documentation in the minimods folders or consult the online mod stack generator for Interregnum.
What is this?
A PBR shader and texture set for Sins.
Cant wait for may 4th!

You need to use the Remastered compatiblity mods for E4X and Interregnum too. They're in the Graphical minimods pack.

This does not work for me. In the mods folder 1.85 it has gone in there opened up the game gone to mods and i cant enable it....any help please guys?
Sounds like you did not install it correctly. Don't put the zip file in there, extract the folder in the zip to the mods directory.
Does this have any noticeable performance impact?
It's not without a little extra overhead but nothing that I generally notice. Some older hardware may struggle with it more.
Please excuse my ignorance but I can't seem to find my mod folder to extract to. I use Steam. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

The game has to have been started successfully once before the folders will be created as well.
What's the performance hit on the CPU overall? Doesn't seem to add much load too my 5.2GHZ 8700k. Just curious

Is there any Difference between Enhanced 4x Mod and this Mod?. If so then can we use both the mods simultaneously, if so then how? Please Help!
