Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. After loosing several major fleets and his own personal star destroyer...twice, Darth Vader finally abandoned his dreams of conquering the now TEC controlled Thyferra as a mere impossibility.

Probably played in DEV Mode allowing him to remove the Starbase Limit
Or he just got lucky with the Twin Fortresses Research and the "extra fortress" exploration bonus.

Extended Research and doubled fleet supply minimods are beautiful things, the level 6 SSD that came later almost broke through but self destruct took it down, and my planetary defenses finished off the rest.
Nice to know the AI can use an Executor and especially Vader now and then. :-)

The idea of sending fleet after fleet to batter a planets defenses is incredibly. Like a proper siege! Can't wait :)
