Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
This is the new Rebel One mesh and textures for Interregnum. It will be serving as a capital ship for the Rebel Alliance.
The original base mesh for this ship was provided by Doci and the Awakening of the Rebellion mod team. It has been modifed and re-textured for its use here.
dat aft...
IT BE DAT AFT!
Oh my god it's finally here
Great model ! Just wondering : are the ex-CIS Providence Capital Ships present in neutral territories (Hutt Core World + Atzerri Cartel) also going to be replaced by this, or it's only for the Alliance enhanced variant ?
This is only for the Rebel Alliance. The "Neutral" Providence will remain in the mod unchanged with the original model.
When will it be aviable?
The upcoming Beta 2 update.
Love it... with that iridescent rear hull plating, big honkin' wing extensions, and glorious front prow, it looks like it would be just at home in Flash Gordon as it is in Interregnum.
I know I'm about to get hammered for asking, but what were the "spines" along the top and bottom supposed to be, anyways?
Your guess is as good as mine. Personally I think they're silly and they were a pain to have to deal with as well. They are, however, part of the original art for the ship. So basically I'd say it was some artists idea of "Hey! I know what would look cool! Spikes!"
At least I'm not the only one confused. I figure rendering them was a pain.
those spines are radiators for the upgunning and modernization of the craft and the current heat mitigation systems were insufficient
either that or i believe it is spinal armor reinforcement
