X-Wings are soooo sexy and timeless. :)
BEEF your screenshots are awesome but where's the tie fighters!?
Scroll back far enough and you'll find some good TiE stuff.
Ties are kinda lame anyway. I never did like how they are used. The empire likes their big ships but god help you if you are a Tie pilot. You may disagree by the Alliance considered everything valuable. Especially the squishy biological bit behind the controls.
I like TIEs for what they are. The way I think of it, the Empire gets millions of applicants to the academy every week. They can't give proper training to all of them, so they give them an entrance exam. The ones that do well get proper training and probably end up in an Interceptor or something better, and the ones who kinda suck just get tossed into a TIE fighter after some basic training and brainwashing.
When it's battle time, the Empire just lobs handfuls of expendable pilots in TIE Fighters at the enemy to overwhelm them in numbers, while a smaller number of skilled pilots in TIE Interceptors are deployed to do the real job.
I put more thought into that than I meant to but I think it makes sense.
I was referring to the tie fighters attacking the x-wings, but @service_disconnect it makes perfect sense yet you're forgetting that the elite pilots get to sit in the defenders or phantoms
Real men don't need shields.
i think the force awakening x-wings look pretty ****** compared to the originals. i mean even in the comics they never did that ****, but i'm not sure about the darkhorse comic about Georges original ideas though.
