Description

While our plan for Interregnum was that the next major update will be the full release of the mod, the recent Rebellion 1.98 has broken some small things that we none the less want to fix. So we may as well release some other stuff we've worked on as well!

One of the main new changes is a revamp of Pacts. An upcoming article will explain the details, but in a nutshell, each subfaction now has a distinct set of Pacts, rather than pacts being shared between both of a race's subfactions. A number of changes and reworks to the 18 available pacts have also been made.

This is particularly helpful for the Interregnum Star Wars factions, as the Empire factions shared the TEC pacts and the Alliance factions the Advent pacts. This meant that there is a 40% chance of a potential ally having the exact same pacts as you as a Star Wars factions. In the next version, no two subfactions have the same pacts, so there will be something interesting out of every alliance combination (except two of the same faction of course).
